First Apartment

Getting your first apartment can be one of the most exciting times in your life. You have your own space to decorate. Live by your rules and schedule. Liberating!
That’s “live outside the box.”  Do it your way and live big.

Celebrate every moment. Your new apartment needs some essential items and choosing thoughtfully will give you flexibility and multiple uses. Added Value.

Here are some tips that are essentials for the first apartment:
  • Television console/stand for the living room- This item anchors the flat screen, gives storage for TV components, books or magazine, and adds color and depth to the TV. It is the focal point for placing your seating. Depending on your budget this item may start small but as you upgrade your TV size throughout the years this item can move to many other needed spaces in your home.
  • Picture it in the master bedroom, the second bedroom, the entryway, even behind a sofa later on.
  • Pick a style that is classic or transitional and it will have a longer life.  Neutral colors i.e. brown, black or gray mix more readily.
  • A thinner depth will give you more space.
  • Consider picking a TV Console at least 35" in height like the Becket 52" TV Console shown below because it can be used behind a sofa or as a dining buffet later on.

In two weeks we will share additional tips for your first apartment.
